AA Club library
When it comes to running most of us read the same the publications. How would others feel about donating their books, magazines and maybe DVDs to the club for others borrow? We could maintain a list here on the forum of what is available and I would be happy to act as “Librarian” by collecting and passing on items.

Re: AA Club library
Ray, i think that is a splendid idea - and certainly would make great use of the forum!
If you want to act as a librarian, then by all means. I guess you are suggesting that it need not be just running related either?
I knwo I have a few books that I would be happy to let people borrow, but certainly would like them back at some point.

Re: AA Club library
So how about we maintain a list on the forum of the books that people would be happy to share with others. If you have a book to lend out add it to the list, followed by your forum user name. Other users could then contact the lender directly (see below).
I'm not sure if this would be the best way to swap/lend books , so if anyone has other ideas please post them here.
Updated list
John Bingham - The Courage To Start Rayvon
Paula Radcliffe - My Story So Far Rayvon
Matt Seaton - The Escape Artist Rayvon
.

Having now read Dean Karnazes Ultramarathon Man book I can now deduce that the man is a complete nut. Still, you can't help but be in awe of his crazy feats of endurance ... he makes Eddie Izzard look like a couch potato

I have been following Dean Karnazes latest run, 3000 miles across America, and he is indeed a nut

Re: AA Club library
plenty of other people doing this sort of thing Ray, there is a transamerica race later this year, i know two of the Brits doing it.
Without wanting to put down Dean, opinions of him are rather mixed, many consider him a something of a media whore always promoting himself etc while others in the ultra circuit who are MUCH better choose not to promote themselves to such a high extent.
